Jeffrey S. Sheldon
Jeffrey S. Sheldon has been a practicing attorney in Southern California since 1989. He is a partner in the law firm of Kerr & Sheldon, an Orange County civil litigation firm. Mr. Sheldon practices solely in the field of Plaintiffs Personal Injury. Mr. Sheldon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in California Western School of Law, San Diego. He has worked full time with Kerr & Sheldon since 1994.
Memberships, Articles, Associations, & Honors:
Known as an aggressive and successful courtroom litigator, Mr. Sheldon was honored as the Orange County Personal Trial Lawyer of the Year 2007. Mr. Sheldon has been published in the field of personal injury trial work and has lectured to lawyers and law students on that subject. Mr. Sheldon is currently serving his third term on the Board of Directors, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Orange County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Mr. Sheldon also arbitrates cases as appointed by the Orange County Superior Court.
Locally, Mr. Sheldon does a good deal of pro-bono work for the Path of Hope Foundation, where he previously served as a founding Board Member, and also with the Coastline College and Senior Center Legal Clinics. Additionally, Mr. Sheldon devotes a good deal of his time to coaching youth sports throughout the Newport/Costa Mesa community.
