I found Mr. Kerr while searching for an attorney for loss of value. Our car was brand new and I got hit hard by another car. Luckily I wasn’t hurt, but it was frustrating that our brand new car wasn’t worth the same anymore because of this accident and it would be harder to sell. Other law firms I called almost hung up on me as soon as they heard that there were no injuries. They advertised Loss of Value, but would only consider a case if there were serious enough injuries. When I contacted Mr. Kerr he was so incredibly helpful. The car was only partially damaged and repairable, so this was not a case for an attorney. Nevertheless Mr. Kerr helped me so much, from giving references for appraisers, to guidance on how to proceed and explanations of how loss of value works.
I hardly ever post reviews, but he was so amazing and responded quickly and thoroughly to all my emails and all my questions even though I wasn’t a client that I wanted to let people know.

Here is my story and confirmation.

Last August, while riding my bicycle home from work, the usual route taken through south Costa Mesa, i was Struck by a Motor vehicle. Luckily and most importantly im here alive to share. That is exactly the big picture. An outcome, in which my assigned attorney Geoff Rill had reminded me, with comfort since Day 1 from our very first conversation over the phone. I am alive and survived with only minor injuries. The evening of my accident, my body was in so much shock, along with the painful abrasions to my knee and contusion to my forearm, there was a substantial amount of adrenaline running through my body still causing me plenty of confusion and uncertainty of "What Do I Do Now?"

Now, revisiting that day of my accident, im realizing just how lucky and how much gratitude i hold for my good friend who referred me to the law offices of Kerr & Sheldon. If it weren't for that advice, there is No doubt that i would still be managing pain from the accident and without reimbursement or transportation. In hopes, by writing this more victims or even if those are personally considered being the possibility of one in an accident, they will reach out Here(K&S) with confidence.

Sir Geoff Rill, forever in debt for this gentleman's services. Initially, when first speaking with him, i felt more as though i was speaking to a family member. I remember being over excited with emotion, both the feeling of gratefulness for still being here on earth.. and some of anger and disbelief for the man who'd hit me with his vehicle. He brought me a sense of peacefulness, calamity and the reassurance that i was and will be just fine and there is nothing for me to be concerned about. Not one thing. .....He was right.

The days following my accident and the phone call to Geoff, continued on seamlessly smoothly and without worry. He and his team at K&S were extremely supportive and accommodating. My bike was totaled. It was a quality bicycle with more value than i had estimated. Before i had time to inquire about a possible replacement, himself and an office assistant had already assured me that the insurance would cover my cost. It did. To my appreciative surprise a check with a generous sum(k's) swiftly arrived in my mailbox. Couldn't have taken them more than a few weeks. Along with my loss damages check, was also the refund for All of the Uber rides and receipts i had incurred during those weeks for work, doctor visits etc. It was all taken care of. We kept in touch naturally, a delighted phone call from Geoff to see how all of the tests, procedures and doctor visits had been going during the weeks was not uncommon. He Cared. That was paramount for myself. He genuinely took the time, always understanding of my time during those calls, just to ask "Hey! how're you feeling?" and had the patience to listen, understand and always giving advice that had made so much sense to my confusion. It Helped. He helped. They helped.
In guidance and at a comfort level i could have never imagined existed.

Concluding my case in the following short few months. It was a bond, in which him and the team at Kerr & Sheldon produced with myself and the medical staff handling my health improvement from the accident, that really proved to me that they are The Best Legal team in OC. Within i'd say, 90 days from the accident i had received the loss/damages check for property and then a 2nd much larger check(+10K total) for all losses including medical was received. He went above and beyond my expectations to insure every cent of cost was payed for... and much more. If you've been involved, a victim of or just unsure of the accident involved in.. i would highly, i mean Highly Recommend, giving the pleasant team of people over at Kerr & Sheldon a call.
